Goodland Development Pte Ltd was started in 1993 as a small construction company undertaking general building and civil engineering works and was registered with the then Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).
The company was awarded its first public venture by the Public Utilities Board (PUB) in 1993 to build a wave wall at MacRitchie Reservoir Park. The second project came soon after when Goodland was called upon to construct the public jetty at Pulau Ubin Island by the formerly known Public Works Department (PWD) in 1994.
Over the past 28 years, as Goodland Development Pte Ltd grew its business, property developments were included in its portfolio. The Group established its construction division via its subsidiary companies, GPM Builders Pte Ltd (GPM) and Goodland Group Construction Pte Ltd (GGC), to undertake all its group property development projects.
With many premium construction projects including condominiums, apartments, landed housing, commercial, and industrial developments to its name, the company has come a long way. GPM and GGC are both registered with the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA) as Class 1 Licensed General Builders.
GPM is registered with BCA under the work heads of General Building (CW01) B2 Grade, Civil Engineering (CW02) C3 Grade, and Finishing and Building Products (SY06) L1 Grade.
GGC is registered with BCA under the work heads of General Building (CW01) C3 Grade and Civil Engineering (CW02) C3 Grade.
